Dear LaGuardia Families:

We’ve been inspired to get into shape after watching our beautiful senior dance students perform at their Winter Dance Showcase. It was a lovely sampling of what our dance students’ day is like at LaGuardia. And hats off to the parents for the delicious multi-cultural food festival before and after the dance show yesterday! Family talent obviously extends from the performing arts into the culinary arts!

So now are you ready to be amazed and awed by some more performances from our talented students?  Rising Stars: Heritage in Harmony opens Thursday night, so hurry and get your tickets if you haven’t yet purchased them!  Online sales close at midnight tonight, but tickets will be on sale in the lobby Monday through Wednesday from 3:00 p.m.- 4:30 p.m. This is an incredible event that brings students from all talents onto the stage-trust us, you don’t want to miss it!

And be sure to check out the Senior Art Show #1 this weekend. It opens Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

We want to remind you about our upcoming PA meeting on Tuesday, February 2 at 7p.m. We’ll have a Q&A with adolescent specialist Sean Grover as he discusses the differences between atypical and developmental depression in teenagers.  We look forward to seeing you there.

We’ve got even more exciting news, but it’s a bonus for reading all the way to the end of the Sunday Night News!
