Thank you for attending the Dance PA’s zoom on summer intensives. It’s time to start exploring summer opportunities for your dancers! 

We also wanted to remind you of our dance parent evening out at Gem Saloon on February 13th @ 6:30pm. We need to give the bar a heads up of how many to expect so please let us know if you can attend (and how many). Please rsvp HERE.

Our Rising Stars variety show is taking place Feb 7-9. The show is a 35+ year tradition at LaG and is the Parents Association's biggest fundraiser! Timothee Chalamet performed in 2012 - come to a performance and maybe see a future star in action!

LAG ART VISITING ARTISTS

LaG Fine Art's Visiting Artist Program welcomed sculptor, painter, stage designer, and opera director Alexander Polizin. Polizin presented a slideshow of his work to students, discussed his art making process and career, and talked with students about what it's like to live and work as a professional artist.

Also our next art PA meeting will be on January 27^th. Please bring any fundraising ideas.

The NYC DOE Substance Abuse Prevention and Intervention Specialists (SAPIS) program provides a range of prevention and intervention services in grades K-12. The goals of the program are to:

• Reduce the prevalence of substance abuse among youth
• Delay the initiation of substance abuse behavior among youth
• Decrease the negative health, social, and educational consequences associated with substance abuse
• Prevent the escalation of substance abuse behaviors to levels requiring treatment

Special Education Department will be joining the next Coffee and Donuts on Friday, February 7th, between 11:00am and 12:30am. The conversation will focus on the mission and vision of the department and will include available student supports. Please let Jerrianna know if you are able to join by Thursday, February 6th at 12 noon. Upon entering the building, you will be directed to TheLittle Flower Theatre.

If coming to campus is not possible, please reach out to Jerrianna directly with any questions or concerns.
