Someone is on your side. No one is alone. ~Stephen Sondheim

The deadline to advertise in the All School Musical’s program of Into the Woods is fast approaching: October 31st. To ensure the quality of productions remains high we need donations and sponsors. There are a variety of sizes and prices to make sure we give well-deserved shoutouts to our actors, singers, artists, musicians, dancers, tech students, production team and faculty in this wonderful Sondheim musical.

This is the 140th anniversary of Playbill, so let’s give our students a playbill to remember! Please click HERE for prices and a link to upload any artwork or text.

If you know anyone, either individual or business, who would like to advertise in our program, please have them contact  musical@laguardiahspa.org. The musical is seen by current families, alumni, industry professionals, fans and friends of LaGuardia - a wide variety of potential customers.

We also need donations in any amount to support the students in every way: costumes, set design, props, lunches & dinners, sound equipment and so much more. Please click HERE to donate. Every donor and sponsor will be listed in the program.

Thank you!

FUNDRAISING UPDATE

Dear LaGuardia Community:

Thank you for your continued support in our fundraising campaign. Presently, we have raised $88,000. Please keep the donations coming. We are asking families to give what they are comfortable donating. 100% participation is very important and all donations are greatly appreciated. Some areas that your donations fund are:

 - Academic supplies and equipment

- Studio performances

- Industry consultants for studio classes

- Production costs for our three fundraisers - Rising Stars, Gala, and All School Musical

- Teacher appreciation week

- and much more…

Thank you to those helping us to find additional corporate funding and matching gifts.

In addition, school leadership, PA officers and student leaders have several meetings scheduled with elected officials over the next three weeks to discuss:

Help bring back the Guest Artist Series! The much-loved Guest Artist Series brings in professional teachers from the field and exposes all dance majors, grades 9-12, to a variety of dance forms. However, due to budget constraints, the Guest Artist Series is currently on hold and will likely be eliminated for the school year without your help.

We heard from parents - you and your students don't want this to happen! Therefore, 100% of donations to the Dance PA between Nov 1 and Nov 15 will go directly to bringing back guest artists. A donation of $250 covers one guest artist for one grade. If we raise $10,000 between Nov 1 and Nov 15, we can restore the program in full.

Click HERE to see the amazing artists brought in for the 2023-24 Guest Artist Series. We don't want our students to miss out on similar opportunities this year so donate now!
