LETTER FROM PA PRESIDENT

Dear LaGuardia Families:

On behalf of the Parents Association Executive Board, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to our community. This year, our collective efforts, including the incredible contributions of parents and guardians like you, have solidified why our school is so special. Your involvement and support have been instrumental in our achievements, and we are truly proud of what we have accomplished together. Our passion, enthusiasm, commitment and constructive criticism strengthen our community.

Our fundraising efforts were a huge success, as we reached our goal for the 2023-2024 school year. The money raised went to improve our studios, help in academic areas, assist with graduation costs, support clubs and athletics, appreciate our teachers and staff, and much, much more. Your incredible generosity has made a significant difference in improving the high school experience for our students. Thank you!

To anyone who volunteered their time this year, we truly appreciate you. It takes a lot of people power to plan and implement activities, and I’m so proud that when the call goes out, our community steps up. Thank you to all who took on leadership roles, helped with significant events such as Rising Stars, All School Musical, Gala/Auction, sold merch, planned and supported studio events, helped with athletics and welcome activities, and attended various performances. We literally couldn’t function without you.

Congratulations to our senior families and students. You have had a roller coaster of a ride over the last four years, but you helped make our school a better place, and we are very grateful to all of you. I wish your kids nothing but happiness and success as they go on to their next great adventure. We look forward to seeing you in the future at LaGuardia performances.

I have truly enjoyed representing all of you as president of the Parents Association. While we have celebrated many successes this year, there are still a number of important issues we need to address in the upcoming year. Your continued involvement and support are crucial to our ongoing efforts. I eagerly anticipate seeing and working with all of you next year and look forward to more of you joining in this capacity when opportunities arise. It’s a great way to meet fellow parents and positively impact our school. Please never hesitate to reach out with questions, concerns, ideas, constructive criticism, and happy news. Your input is invaluable to us.

Have a great summer break,

Tracy
