SPORTS REPORT

Recapping a week filled with remarkable sports achievements while eagerly anticipating the excitement of upcoming events, Fiorello LaGuardia High School's athletic calendar is filled with action.

Last week began with our talented indoor track boys and girls teams taking to the Armory Track on February 8th. The excitement continued on February 9th, as the gymnastics boys varsity team members showcased their skills in Long Island. As the week progressed, our gymnastics boys varsity team continued to shine, with captivating performances on February 12th at Stuyvesant High School Gym, and on February 14th at our very own Laguardia Gym. Their athleticism and dedication were on full display, earning admiration from fans and competitors. This past Saturday, February 17th, our indoor track boys and girls teams returned to the Armory Track, determined to surpass their previous achievements. With great determination, they pushed themselves to new heights, leaving a trail of success.

Looking ahead, the anticipation continues for another thrilling event on February 28th, as our girls varsity basketball team prepares to take on their opponents at Susan E. Wagner HS Gym 2. The stage is set for an epic showdown, and our athletes are ready to leave it all on the court. Join us in celebrating the LaGuardia Lions as they continue to show their passion and dedication through sport. Get ready for a week filled with thrilling competitions and unforgettable moments!

Good luck to all LaGuardia athletes and students for the upcoming week after the long Midwinter Recess!
