ROLLING OUT JUPITER

Students will receive an email with instructions for how to create their Jupiter grades account this Monday, February 12. Once the administration is sure that all students have access, they will create accounts for parents using the email that is on file with NYCSA. Please remember that not all teachers will be using Jupiter. How teachers record grades and keep families aware of their child’s progress is their choice. Please be patient as the school staff rolls out this new grade management tool.

TEACHERS NEED YOUR HELP!

Thank you for fully funding Ms. Johnson's most recent project request for copies of Counting Descent to add to the contemporary poetry collection for the English curriculum, and Ms. Lin's most recent project request for a new iPad to help students have more of an interactive and visual learning experience in ICT geometry classes.

Let's continue to show our support!

Mr. Domench is requesting materials to help students make trichromatic stencil portraits and landscape paintings.

Mr. Bar-Lev is requesting a new MacBook Pro to give students the opportunity to make high quality films.

Please visit our DonorsChoose page and share the links with your networks, family and friends. Anyone can donate, and all donations are tax deductible. Your generosity and support is greatly appreciated.

Explore the differences between the BA, BS, BFA, Must/BM, AAS and AS degrees, as well as audition and portfolio guidelines, and get an overview of arts-related careers. Students can register HERE.

JUNIORS: SAMPLE COLLEGE SEARCH TEMPLATE
Students will be creating their own list of schools and should continue to research; this modified template from the College Essay Guy is a useful organizational tool. The template is also linked for students in the College folder in the Classwork section of the 11th Grade Post-Secondary Google Classroom. There are resources listed in the top left corner of the document.

Please go to file>make a copy>rename so the students can make  changes and fill in their own information.
