There are currently 15 teachers' projects on our DonorsChoose page. With even more budget cuts on the horizon, it is more important than ever that we support our teachers and students by helping to fund these projects. 

Ms. VanSoy and Ms. Kompanal's projects will expire within the next 30 days. Together we can help move their projects closer to completion.

Please review all of the projects on our DonorsChoose page and share the links with your networks, family and friends. Anyone can donate, and all donations are tax deductible. Your generosity and support is greatly appreciated.

Parents of senior students can view the visit schedule in MaiaLearning if they go under the student view and then to the left menu and click on "events" and then "university visits."

Academic Approach* is offering a virtual ACT or SAT prep course to LaGuardia students in preparation for 2024 tests. The course is aimed at helping students improve their score growth potential by reviewing key skill sets in reading, writing, math and science, and the application of these skills on college entrance exams. This course, which starts in January, includes 24 hours of instruction, 2 full-length practice tests, and additional study materials. The cost of the course is greatly reduced for LaG students at $400. The deadline to sign up is December 10, 2023. A minimum of 18 students must sign up for the course in order to secure the discount. Teens Open Studio at The Whitney A free art-making program on select Fridays. Work with contemporary artists to create and learn new techniques with art projects inspired by The Whitney’s exhibitions and collection.
