How to vote in the PA Spring Elections:

In order to participate in PA elections that are held via zoom, upon entering the meeting everyone must rename themselves with the last four digits of their students OSIS number.

•Your student’s OSIS number is a nine digit number that every student in a NYC public school has

•Your student’s school ID card has the OSIS number on it

•You can also find it on your student’s transcript, or report card

•You can find find it by signing into your NYC Schools Account at https://www.schoolsaccount.nyc/

To make the process quicker, please find this number before you log into the meeting. If you can’t find it, we will be opening the zoom call at 6:00pm and Dr. Stricklin and Jerrianna will be able to help you. Please note that we have to start the meeting at 6:30pm. If you come late, that’s ok, but if we are in the middle of electing a position, you will have to stay in the waiting room until we complete electing that one position. If you are in the meeting and have not renamed yourself, you will be sent to a breakout room to get assistance, but we have to continue with the elections. We will have slides to show you how to rename yourself if you need help. If there are two parents/guardians who will be at the meeting, you will rename yourselves with the same 4 digits but differentiate yourselves by using A & B (example: xxxxA & xxxxB). Each parent/guardian has one vote.

MATH AND SCIENCE FUND-A-CAUSE

At our galas, we traditionally target fundraise for a specific project or area of need. This year, we are raising money for our Math & Science departments. We want to provide essential resources such as lab supplies, textbooks, whiteboards, classroom desks, and ongoing professional development for our teachers. Your contribution will directly enhance the learning environment for hundreds of students, helping them explore, discover, and thrive. As an extra incentive, anyone who donates a $100 or more will be automatically entered into our Fund-A-Cause raffle for a chance to win West Side Story (All School Musical) tickets for next year. We have two sets of 2 tickets - nice seats. We also will be raffling off a $200 gift certificate to the Brooklyn Chop House (253 West 47th Street).

Congrats to all the winners of the silent auction and live auction items. We will be reaching out to you this week to coordinate pick up/drop off of your items. Some items will be sent via email.
